A clear photo gives a better example. A few habits help:
- Shoot in daylight, on a day without hard shadows if you can.
- Stand back far enough to show the whole space, including the house wall, the lawn edge and any fence.
- Hold the phone level and take the photo from standing height.
- Move hoses, trash cans and cars out of the frame.
- Use one photo of one area at a time. A front yard and a backyard are separate tries.
Photos of a bare yard, a new-construction lot or a tired lawn all work. A photo that is dark, blurry or cropped to a corner gives a vague result.
